Whoop announced its first wearable in India — Whoop 4.0 — on Tuesday, September 24. Designed for athletes and wellness enthusiasts, Whoop’s fitness band 4.0 comes with features such as sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, skin temperature sensor, and pulse oximetry among others. The Whoop 4.0 band is claimed to offer a battery life of more than five days on a single charge. It comes with several features like Whoop coach, sleep coach and any wearable technology to track physical activities and well-being.

Whoop 4.0 Price in India, Availability

The price of Whoop 4.0 is Rs. 29,990 in India. Customers can grab the wearable during the upcoming Flipkart Big Billion Days sale starting on September 26 for Rs. 26,990 by adding a discount of Rs. 3000. Furthermore, there will be free EMI offers. The wearable is available with one Onyx strap.

Whoop 4.0 Specifications

The Whoop 4.0 doesn’t have a screen, but it does boast a rectangular dial with a nylon strap. The wearable device offers Bluetooth connectivity. It is advertised to provide real-time insight into health metrics such as recovery, exertion, stress and sleep.

The wearable is equipped with features such as Whoop coach, any wearable technology and a sleep coach. Whoop coach offers personalized recommendations and feedback based on the user’s health data while the sleep coach monitors and measures sleep quality. With the anywear technology in Whoop 4.0, users can choose different style combinations for wearables. It can be worn anywhere on the body.

Whoop 4.0 provides its own results in recovery, exertion, sleep and stress. These results can be viewed in the Whoop app on a paired Android or iOS smartphone. It claims to measure both cardio and muscle strain. It has a heart rate sensor for 24×7 health monitoring.

Other built-in sensors are accelerometer, pulse oximeter, temperature sensor and gyroscope. Whoop 4.0 also tracks the wearer’s activities, blood oxygen levels, skin temperature, breathing rate, resting heart rate (RHR) and heart rate variability (HVR).

The Whoop 4.0 is claimed to deliver up to 5.5 days of battery life on a single charge. The fitness tracker comes with a one-year subscription to Whoop that gives users access to activity trackers.
