WhatsApp for Android is getting a new feature that allows users to set a default media quality setting. The feature has been reported to be in development for some time and was first spotted by the feature tracker in March in WhatsApp for Android version 2.24.5.6. The feature is now available to the public. Notably, WhatsApp has recently rolled out several new updates to its video calling feature that improve the service on mobile and desktop apps.
