Vivo X200 series global launch date announced; Expected to arrive later this month

The Vivo X200 series, which includes the Vivo X200, X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini, was launched in China in October. They are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipsets and run OriginOS 5 based on Android 15. The smartphones are equipped with triple rear camera units with Zeiss support, as well as Vivo V3+ imaging chips on the Pro models. The model range is expected to be introduced to global markets soon. The company’s official page in Malaysia previously reported on the imminent launch. The speaker hinted at a likely global launch date for Vivo X200 phones.

The Vivo X200 series could launch globally on November 22, according to a post by X whistleblower Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz). However, he did not specify the region or markets where the line may debut. Earlier, the launch of the Vivo X200 series was announced by Vivo Malaysia.

A previous report claimed that the Vivo X200 series could arrive in India by the end of November or in the first week of December. Notably, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro were launched in India in January this year after initially launching in China in November 2023.

Features of the Vivo X200 series

The global variants of Vivo X200 phones are expected to be similar to their Chinese counterparts. All three phones in the lineup are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipsets and run OriginOS 5 based on Android 15. They feature a 50-megapixel triple rear camera with Zeiss support.

The Vivo X200, X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini support 90W wired fast charging, while the Pro variants also offer 30W wireless charging support. The base model has a 5,800 mAh battery, while the Pro and Pro Mini variants pack 6,000 mAh and 5,700 mAh cells, respectively.

The Vivo X200 starts at RMB 4,300 (roughly Rs. 51,000) for the base 12GB + 256GB variant. The Vivo X200 Pro and Vivo X200 Pro Mini start at CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 63,000) and CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs. 56,000) in the country for their respective 12GB + 256GB variants.
