Vivo is all set to launch a new line of X series phones for the current year. It is noted that this year’s presentation will take place on October 14 in China. The Vivo X200 and X200 Pro (hopefully with an ‘Ultra’ model coming later) are the usual updates that everyone expects to see at launch. However, an all-new Mini model could also be launched this year. After a lot of leaks and rumors about the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro, we finally got benchmark results that give us an idea of the core performance of Vivo’s flagship camera smartphone.
The details come from Chinese microblogging platform Weibo via InnoGyaan. The AnTuTu (v10) test results were not revealed as a leak from a tipster, but from Vivo’s product manager, Han Boxiao. It shows a (currently) record AnTuTu score of 30,07,853 points driven by the MediaTek-powered Vivo X200 Pro ‘Satellite Edition’.
According to a previous report, the Vivo X200 Pro features an all-new design with a 1.5K 8T LTPO micro-curved display with thin bezels and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. As for cameras, the phone will reportedly have a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 200-megapixel telephoto lens.
The Vivo X200 Pro’s AnTuTu scores are higher than the Oppo Find X8 Pro, which was previously revealed to have scored 28,80,558 in the same test with the same chipset. The Oppo Find X8 Pro, like Vivo’s flagships, has yet to be announced in China. The Pro model is also said to have a large 6,000mAh battery.
As Vivo prepares to unveil its X200 Pro model, there are also rumors of an “Ultra” model that is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.
The Oppo Find X8 Pro, which is also expected in India this year, is said to offer a large display with thin bezels. The Find X8 Pro may also be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. A recent leak also suggested that the phone will have an action button very similar to the Apple iPhone. The Oppo Find X8 Pro may also come with magnetic wireless charging along with a slew of announced accessories. The Find X8 series is expected to launch around October 21.
