Vivo X200 Pro expected to get 1.5K display, MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC and more

The Vivo X flagship line is expected to add a new device soon, the Vivo X200 Pro. While we expect it to run on MediaTek’s next flagship chipset, the latest leak spills more details about its display, camera and battery. The Vivo X200 Pro is said to sport a 1.5K display and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The Vivo X200 Pro is expected to launch alongside the vanilla Vivo X200. It may come with upgrades compared to the Vivo X100 Pro.

Vivo X200 Pro specifications (announced)

Well-known Chinese whistleblower Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) on Weibo claimed that the Vivo X200 Pro will feature a slightly curved display with a 1.5K resolution and narrow bezels. In the comments section, the tipster states that the display will likely be 6.7 or 6.8 inches.

The Vivo X200 Pro is also tipped to have a single-point ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. It could bring a new silicon battery configuration, perhaps 6,000 mAh. It is said to have a new triple-camera system, including a periscope lens. The leaker also reiterates that the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset will be used in the upcoming Vivo X series phone.

Vivo X100 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC and has IP68 water and dust protection. It features a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor. The phone packs Vivo’s proprietary imaging chip and a curved 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It has a 5400mAh battery with 100W charging support.
