The Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro have been confirmed to launch in China on May 30. The line will be the successor to the Vivo S18 series, which was introduced in December 2023. The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed the design and some key specifications of the upcoming Vivo S19. series The phones are expected to feature up to three rear cameras with Aura lighting, which is also available on the company’s V-series smartphones. Other details of the smartphones, including the chipset, charging and camera details, were also revealed by the whistleblower.

The Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro are confirmed to feature dual and triple rear cameras respectively, led by a 50-megapixel primary camera. They will also feature Vivo Aura lighting on the back, according to the product’s microsite on Vivo’s Chinese website. The phones will also be equipped with a 6000 mAh battery.
The base Vivo S19 is said to be available in black, peach and white, and will have a 7.19mm body with an “ultra-thin direct display”. The Vivo S19 Pro has also been confirmed to feature a curved display. It was teased before launch in green, gray and white colors.

Meanwhile, Digital Chat Station claims in a post on Weibo that the Vivo S19 series will feature 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED displays with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The base variant is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, while the Pro model may get a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor.
In the camera department, both the Vivo S19 phones come with 50-megapixel selfie cameras. The standard model is expected to have a 50-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. It is noted that the Pro variant will receive a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main sensor with support for optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with OIS support and 50x digital zoom.
Both Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro support 80W wired fast charging. The base phone will likely receive an IP64 rating, while the Pro version could have IP69, IP68, or IP64 ratings for varying degrees of dust and splash resistance, according to the speaker.
