According to Vi, its ‘Clinic in a Bag’ program provides live feeds from a remote location to medical professionals. They can receive real-time diagnostic reports, enabling informed consultations via video call. The telecom service provider says it has coverage for more than 30 medical tests at Point of Care including vital signs, heart and lung function, blood tests and check-ups – all starting from just Rs. 250. This remote technology solution is said to be a low-cost alternative to inaccessible health centers in rural India.

Vi has also deployed a 360-degree immersive dome that can bypass physical challenges and give consumers a glimpse of anywhere in the world, using the company’s technology. At IMC 2024, attendees will be able to experience the ancient underwater city of Dwarka.

The telecommunications service provider’s business arm — Vi Business — also showcased Industry 4.0 solutions that include the use of 5G, AI, machine learning and IoT. The company claims it can digitize processes, connect human and non-human assets and enable real-time monitoring. The use of this technology is demonstrated with a built smart mine that displays rapid responses during real-time emergency situations and site monitoring.

Vi demonstrated how its two AI-powered cloud platforms, CPaaS and CCaaS, use AI technology to improve customer interactions and streamline business operations. It also demonstrated its scalable Vi Hybrid SD-WAN solution that has integrated artificial intelligence features to protect Indian enterprises from cyber attacks.
