A Samsung smartphone with model number SM-S936U, which is believed to be the Galaxy S25+, has been spotted on Geekbench. The letter “U” means that this is the American version of the supposed tube. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm chipset with two cores clocked at 4.19GHz and six cores clocked at 2.90GHz. This chipset is equipped with an integrated Adreno 830 graphics processor.samsung galaxy s25 plus geekbench inline Samsung Galaxy S25

The chip architecture suggests it’s the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which is slated for October. Notably, earlier leaks claimed that all Samsung Galaxy S25 series phones could get this chipset. There will likely also be variants of the Exynos 2500 line. Typically, flagship Galaxy phones in the US market come with Qualcomm chipsets.

On the benchmarking site, the Samsung Galaxy S25+ scored 3,054 and 9,224 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The Geekbench listing shows that the alleged Galaxy S25+ will support 12GB of RAM and run on Android 15.

Previous leaks have shown CAD-based renders of the Samsung Galaxy S25+. It appears to be similar to the existing Galaxy S24+ model with additional rings surrounding the triple rear camera slots. We saw a similar design in the rear camera module of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The Samsung Galaxy S25+ is expected to be backed by a 4,755 mAh battery with a typical value of 4,900 mAh. It is similar to the previous Galaxy S24+. It is supposed to support 45W wired fast charging.
