The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE could launch later this year as a more affordable offering than the expected Galaxy Watch 7 series. It is expected to be a refreshed version of the Galaxy Watch 4, which was unveiled in August 2021. Details of the smartwatch have already surfaced online . Recently, support pages for the new Samsung Galaxy Watch have become active on some regional Samsung official websites. The model numbers on the pages are expected to represent the alleged Galaxy Watch FE.

Introducing the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE

The official support pages for the Samsung Galaxy Watch model number SM-R861 have been launched on Samsung’s UK and Latin American websites. This model number was previously spotted on the TDRA website where it was listed with the Galaxy Watch FE moniker. The support pages suggest an imminent launch.

A previous report suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is expected to be a refreshed version of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 from 2021. It is expected to be available as an affordable offering in South Korea, the US and other global markets. The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is also reportedly expected to support 5W wireless charging.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy Watch 7 series next month. The company has yet to announce a date, but previous reports suggest that Samsung’s second Galaxy Unpacked event of the year could be held on July 10. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are also expected to be unveiled at the event.

Namely, Samsung is also expected to introduce the Galaxy Watch Ultra with 10W charging support during the upcoming presentation. It may come with a 1.5-inch screen, a rotating bezel and a square design with rounded edges.
