The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim could join the Galaxy S25 series next year. The model range usually includes a base variant, a Plus variant and an Ultra variant. However, a new model may appear next year. As the name suggests, the Slim version is expected to be thinner than the other models. It is expected to compete with the rumored iPhone 17 Slim or iPhone 17 Air. Not much is known about the expected specifications of the Galaxy S25 Slim, but now it has reportedly been spotted in the IMEI database.

According to a report by Smartprix, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim has been spotted in the IMEI database with the model number SM-S937. Also, the American version of the phone with the model number SM-S937U appeared on the website. This suggests that the phone may be introduced both in the US and in global markets.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim launch timeline
A previous report claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is expected in the second quarter of 2025, a few months after the launch of the Galaxy S25 series. The slimmer version may have a limited release as the company is said to be evaluating customer response to the phone.
Although little is known about the rumored Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim, it is expected to have toned down features compared to the base Galaxy S25 model, similar to the Fan Edition models.
Notably, the alleged variants of the Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra will be thinner than the previous Galaxy S24 series of phones. Earlier reports said that all Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphones will be equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets.
Samsung recently confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup will be launched in the first half of 2025. The exact launch date is likely to be announced closer to the event. It is expected to arrive sometime in January or February.
