The Red Magic 10 Pro series will be launched in China next week. Although ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia only mentioned the Red Magic 10 Pro series, the lineup is expected to include the Red Magic 10 Pro and Red Magic 10 Pro+ — the phones are expected to be successors to the Red Magic 9 Pro and Red Magic 9 Pro+ respectively. On the eve of the official debut, the brand revealed the details of the display of the vanilla Pro model. It is confirmed to feature a 1.5K BOE display with a high screen-to-body ratio. The Red Magic 10 series will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

According to the latest teaser released by the company on Weibo, the Red Magic 10 Pro is the first phone to feature the new Wukong screen jointly developed by Red Magic and BOE. The display will have a resolution of 1.5K and a screen-to-body ratio of 95.3%. This screen-to-body ratio is claimed to be the first of its kind, and the phone is said to have “the world’s first true 1.5KB screen” (translated from Chinese).

The Red Magic 10 Pro series will be launched in China on November 13 at 15:00 local time (12:30 IST). They are now available for pre-booking in the country. The model range will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. They are rumored to pack a 7,000mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 100W.

The Red Magic 10 Pro and Red Magic 10 Pro+ are expected to be an upgrade over last year’s Red Magic 9 Pro and Red Magic 9 Pro+. They were launched in November last year with a starting price of RMB 4,399 (roughly Rs. 51,700).

The previous generation Red Magic phones are powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip paired with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. They are equipped with a 6.8-inch Full HD+ (1116×2480 pixels) BOE Q9+ display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1600 nits.
