The Oppo Reno 12 series will be launched later this month as the successor to the Oppo Reno 11 line. The company has announced the launch date of the new line in China. Oppo also confirmed that the lineup will include the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro. The company even showed the design of the back panel of the phones. We can expect more official teasers for the series closer to the launch date. Along with the Reno 12 series, Oppo may also launch the Enco Air 4 Pro TWS earphones.
In a post on Weibo, Oppo confirmed that the Oppo Reno 12 series will be launched in China on May 23 at 4:00 PM local time (1:30 PM IST). It is teased that it will have a “silver” look, which means the phones will have a silver finish. The company also revealed the design of the back panel of the upcoming phones.

The Oppo Reno 12 comes in silver and the Oppo Reno 12 Pro in purple. Both the phones have a glossy glossy finish and elliptical rear camera modules in the upper left corner.
Oppo did not provide any other details about the phones. However, in another social media post, the Reno 12 series is teased to “give you unexpected, innovative ways to take photos.” Oppo also introduced the Oppo Enco Air 4 Pro with up to 44 hours of battery life. The launch schedule for these true wireless headphones has not been confirmed, but they could be unveiled during the Reno 12 launch.
The base model of the Oppo Reno 12 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8250 SoC, while the Pro variant is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset. Both phones are likely to have a 50-megapixel triple primary camera.
The Oppo Reno 12 Pro is expected to sport a 6.7-inch 120Hz 1.5K display and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support. It is also expected to get a 50MP front camera sensor and a 50MP primary rear sensor along with a 50MP portrait sensor with 2x optical zoom.
Oppo Reno 11 5G and Oppo Reno 11 Pro 5G were launched in India in January this year. The Pro variant costs Rs. 39,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the base price starts at Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant.
