The leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 show a rear panel with sharper corners

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to be the successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 later this year. The foldable book-style smartphone could be unveiled alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July. While no details about the phones have been officially confirmed, reports and leaks have suggested a few key specs about them. Partial design renders of the alleged Galaxy Z Fold 6 have recently surfaced online. Several new design leaks reveal other partial renders that hint at key design elements.

Design of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 (expected)

In one of the sources, Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) shared a render of the cover of the alleged Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 next to the existing Galaxy Z Fold 5. The render of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is seen with rectangular square edges instead of the rounded ones of the current generation foldable phone. This design is similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Another leaked render citing the same whistleblower shared by X user Anthony (@TheGalox_) indicates that the alleged rear panel of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 may feature a larger circular rear camera than the existing model.

The renders shared by the leaker suggest that the rear cameras are still vertically aligned, but the images hint at a slimmer elliptical island. The edges of the phone in this render also look more rectangular than the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Specifications (Expected)

It was previously reported that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have a wider 6.3-inch external screen. The phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s proprietary Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for the Galaxy. It is also likely to come with Android 14 and 10GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to come with a titanium frame and could be offered in three color options – dark blue, light pink and silver. It is expected to be backed by a 4,400mAh battery with 25W wired charging support.

At its first Galaxy Unpacked event in South Korea, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, along with the Galaxy Tab S9 series and the Galaxy Watch 6 series.
