The iQOO 13 has been confirmed to launch in China later this month. Now the head of iQOO India has announced the launch of the smartphone in India. It will be released as a successor to the iQOO 12. Earlier, the company revealed the display details of the upcoming phone. Other specifications such as battery and charging specifications have also been confirmed by a senior official of the company. It has been confirmed to receive the latest generation of the Snapdragon chipset, the name of which has not yet been disclosed.

iQOO 13 launch in India

The IQOO 13 will soon be launched in India, as suggested by iQOO India CEO Nipun Maria’s X post. No launch date or schedule has been announced yet, but it’s likely to happen later this year. In China, the phone will be presented at the end of October.

The teaser suggests that the iQOO 13 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon flagship chipset. The name of the chip has not yet been disclosed. It will be unveiled at Qualcomm’s event this week.

Technical characteristics of iQOO 13

The iQOO 13 is confirmed to feature BOE’s Q10 display with a 2K resolution. Vivo VP Jia Jingdong also confirmed that the phone will have a 6,150mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging, as well as a Q2 gaming chipset.

Previous leaks have claimed that the iQOO 13 will feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is expected to support up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The Chinese version of the smartphone is expected to ship with OriginOS 5, while the Indian and international variants are expected to run on Funtouch OS 15.

In the camera department, the iQOO 13 is expected to get a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP 2x telephoto lens. At the same time, the front camera can be equipped with a 32-megapixel sensor.
