The iQOO 13 is expected to be the successor to the iQOO 12 soon, with multiple leaks and reports fueling speculation over the past few weeks. A recent report said that the much-anticipated smartphone could be launched in India on December 5. The iQOO 13 is expected to launch in China in November. Before any official announcements, a new leak of information about the design of the back panel of the smartphone appeared on the network.
iQOO 13 design (expected)
The IQOO 13 has surfaced online with a design similar to the previous iQOO 12, with a camera on the back. A leaked image of the iQOO 13, shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, shows an RGB light strip around the rear camera module. The design of the expected phone can be seen in an image posted on Sanlian Life Weekly’s Weibo account (translated from Chinese). Here we see a white phone with an RGB backlit strip.
According to the tipster, the light bar is integrated into the design of the rear camera module of the iQOO 13. He adds that users will have the option not to use the light. The RGB lighting can be used while gaming or configured for call alerts and notifications.
An iQOO executive recently shared the front panel design of the iQOO 13, where it appears to have a flat display and a centered hole at the top to house the front-facing camera. The screen has thin, uniform frames.
Features of iQOO 13 (expected)
The iQOO 13 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (or Snapdragon 8 Elite) processor paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of built-in storage. It may feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The Chinese variant is expected to ship with OriginOS 5, while the Indian and international versions may run on Funtouch OS 15.
In the camera department, the iQOO 13 could be equipped with a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 50-megapixel 2x telephoto lens. The phone’s front camera can have a 32-megapixel sensor. The phone is likely to be backed by a 6150mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
