Apple’s fourth-generation iPhone SE is said to be in the works. Touted as the successor to the iPhone SE (2022), the budget iPhone doesn’t yet have a launch date, but it’s believed to bring a design overhaul and exciting new features. Now the tipster suggests that the iPhone SE 4 will cost a little more than the existing model. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to adopt the design of the iPhone 14 and have a larger battery along with Face ID support.
Insider J. Reeve (@Revegnus1) on X claims that Apple will keep the price of the iPhone SE 4 below $500 (roughly Rs. 41,000). The iPhone SE (2022) was launched at a starting price of $429 (roughly Rs. 35,000). The US launch price could remain at $429 or increase by about 10 percent, the source said. Even if the price goes up, Apple will be able to keep it within $499.
Apple is rumored to launch an iPhone SE 4 with a 48-megapixel primary camera in 2025. It is likely to have a 6.1-inch LTPS OLED display and a 3,279mAh battery similar to the iPhone 14. It is expected to include Face ID. and Apple’s own 5G modem chip. It is likely to have a USB Type-C port for charging and may measure 147.7×71.5×7.7mm.
The iPhone SE was first released in 2016. The third version of the iPhone SE was announced in 2022 in India with a starting price of Rs. 43,900 for the base 64GB model.
The iPhone SE (2022) is powered by Apple’s A15 Bionic SoC and features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display. It has a single 12-megapixel camera sensor on the back and a 7-megapixel camera sensor on the front.
