The iPhone 16 line will be presented in two new colors; Yellow, titanium blue shades may fall out

The iPhone 16 lineup is expected to be officially launched in September with four variants โ€” iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. While details about the smartphone’s battery, display and chipset have been leaked several times, a new leak suggests that it will be offered in two additional colors compared to the iPhone 15 lineup. The Pro models could be available in four colors, and Apple may replace some of the existing shades new options.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared his expectations for the color options of the iPhone 16 on the X. According to the analyst, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be offered in black, white (or silver), gray and pink. The new pink color is said to replace the Blue Titanium iPhone 15 Pro. iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are available in Black Titanium, White Titanium and Blue Titanium.

For the base iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, Kuo expects black, white, green, pink and blue colors. This means that the iPhone 15’s yellow hue will be ditched in favor of white. Apple is said to use different names for colors even though the tone of the colors does not change. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are available in black, blue, green, pink and yellow.

Past leaks have also suggested a purple iPhone 16 model, but Kuo didn’t mention purple in his post.

The iPhone 16 series has created a lot of buzz online ahead of its expected release in September. The vanilla models are expected to be powered by the A18 Bionic chip based on TSMC’s 3nm process, while the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max could get the A18 Pro chip.

The iPhone 16 Pro is said to have a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max is said to have a larger 6.9-inch display. The vanilla iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are said to retain the 6.1- and 6.7-inch screens of their predecessors. They may also get new capacitive buttons.
