Star Wars Outlaws Title Update 1.4
In a developer update on Monday, Ubisoft detailed its approach to supporting Star Wars Outlaws after launch. The game’s new creative director, Drew Rechner, said the studio took player feedback into account to prioritize the necessary updates for the game. Rechner detailed the three key areas of improvement that will be covered in the 1.4 title update.
“The first key area of improvement for the game is combat, where we see a real opportunity to add more depth and excitement to the experience, further rewarding your tactics and precision,” said the director.
“Our second key area is invisibility, which is not only about improving the readability and consistency of enemy detection, but also about giving you choices about how you want to approach each encounter.
“Finally, our third key area of focus is on character controls, which means improving the reliability of cloaking, increasing the sensitivity of climbing and crouching, and generally improving the consistency of the controls as a whole.”
According to Rechner, these gameplay improvements will highlight the increased choice players have when completing missions, whether they prefer a stealthy approach or blasting enemies head-on with a blaster. In the coming weeks, Ubisoft will share specific details about the promised gameplay improvements.
Title Update 1.4 will be available on all supported platforms on November 21st, the same day that Star Wars Outlaws launches on Steam and releases its first story expansion, Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card.
