Sony MDR-M1 closed back headphones launched in India. They feature an over-the-ear design with soft, thick ear cushions and come with support for detachable 6.3mm and 3.5mm cables. The headphones offer users a 360-degree surround sound experience, according to the company. They are said to offer high-fidelity audio output and are aimed at professionals such as music producers and artists. The company claims that the headphones were developed with the help of professional sound engineers such as Mike Piacentini of Battery Studios and Akihiro Nishimura of Berklee NYC.

Sony MDR-M1 Headphones Price in India

Sony MDR-M1 headphones are priced in India at Rs. 19,990 and are available for purchase through Sony Centres, Sony Authorized Resellers and e-commerce sites such as Amazon and Flipkart. They will be available for purchase from September 26. As a limited-time offer that ends on October 31, the headphones will be available at Rs. 17,990.

Features of the Sony MDR-M1 headphones

The Sony MDR-M1 closed-back headphones feature an over-ear design with an adjustable headband and soft, thick ear cushions. Designed for music professionals, their design offers a comfortable fit that helps reduce ear fatigue from long-term use.

The closed acoustic structure of the Sony MDR-M1 is said to prevent sound leakage and minimize the interruption of ambient noise, which can help people while recording, mixing or reviewing music. The headphones have a 40mm neodymium driver that supports sound between 5Hz and 8KHz. They are said to offer a high-fidelity 360-degree surround sound experience with low distortion.

The Sony MDR-M1 studio headphones support 6.3mm and 3.5mm detachable cables. The cables are available in a box and are 1.2 m and 2.5 m in size. The headphones weigh 216 g and are available in a unique black shade.
