Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra has been rumored since February, long before the Galaxy Z Fold 6 was unveiled in July 2024. After it wasn’t announced at Samsung’s foldable device event in July, a report claimed that Samsung had stopped working. on an updated complex device and that its launch may be delayed again. Samsung’s first Ultra-branded foldable phone is said to be a thinner and larger version of the currently available Galaxy Z Fold 6. Later in July, another leak suggested the phone would launch in October 2024. Now, details about the Galaxy Z Fold Ultra have reportedly surfaced. appeared online through a retailer.

The Korean retailer has reportedly shared a poster offering a launch date and pre-order details for the foldable device, dubbed the Galaxy Fold 6 Special Edition. Although the website no longer shows the listing, a user on X (@negativeonehero) shared a poster that is also said to have the same model number as the rumored Ultra.

The poster reportedly states that the special edition Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be released on October 25, with pre-orders available from October 18 to 24 in Samsung’s home market of South Korea. The poster strangely also points to a link, but that link goes to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 (Crafted Black variant) on Samsung’s official website. The Crafted Black version of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has been available since its launch in India as a special color. It has a pattern that resembles a carbon fiber weave on the back and is only available for purchase on Samsung’s website and is not available at local retailers.

The user who posted the image online also provided two links (one of which has been removed). The second link points to the T store event, which strangely has the model number “f958” in the URL.

The model number SM-F958 was also spotted in previous Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra leaks. There have been several reports pointing to this number, with one in particular suggesting that the number “8” is an Ultra device in Samsung’s smartphone lineup. At the same time, the number “6” means standard models other than Ultra. The same report also stated that only the SM-F958N model was working, hinting at a Korea-only release. The updated device is said to sport a larger 8-inch main display along with a thickness of 10.6mm when folded.

Since there’s no way to verify the authenticity of this poster, even though it’s claimed to have appeared on a Korean retailer’s website, we have to take news of this launch with a grain of salt until Samsung releases official information about the launch. event.
