The retail box of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 was recently leaked and it appears to feature a major design change – the inclusion of earbuds, according to a report. The South Korean tech giant is expected to launch its TWS earphones alongside its flagship foldable smartphones at the Galaxy Unpacked event rumored to take place in July. This development confirms previous suggestions by several tipsters who claim that Samsung could introduce a design overhaul to its TWS earphone series this year.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 design
Citing industry sources, 91Mobiles has shared several images of the Galaxy Buds 3’s retail box, and it appears to confirm that Samsung will include arms in the design of its TWS earphones – an element similar to the Apple AirPods Pro. The box also bears AKG branding, suggesting Samsung’s partnership with the acoustic engineering company will continue.
There appears to be a “Made in China” label on the back of the retail box, along with a few specifications of the TWS earphones. This report confirms a previous claim where a user shared an alleged screenshot of the Samsung Members app showing the new headset iconography on social media.
This development also backs up the claims of veteran tipster Evan Blass who suggested that both the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro could feature arms – a design element that has been left out of Samsung’s flagship TWS earbuds so far.
Galaxy Buds 3 specifications (expected)
The alleged retail box of the Galaxy Buds 3 also indicates their battery life. It offers up to 6 hours of playback on a single charge. However, the box doesn’t mention whether active noise cancellation (ANC) is on or off. If it’s the former, it will extend the battery life of its predecessor – the Galaxy Buds 2 – which promises up to 5 hours of music playback with ANC on.
The retail box of the Galaxy Buds 3 also claims to offer a fast charging function, with one hour of playback after just 10 minutes of charging. According to the box, the TWS earbuds will also come with “adjustable ear hooks for a secure fit” and will offer sweat and water resistance.
