Reliance Jio Introduces New ISD Minute Pack Recharge Plans Starting at Rs. 39

Reliance Jio on Friday announced new International Dialing (ISD) surcharge plans for 21 countries. The telecommunications service provider has introduced new minutes packages that offer dedicated call minutes with every top-up. The new ISD recharge plans start at Rs. 39 and go up to Rs. 99. These plans are available for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers. In addition to the new packages, the company has also revised the prices for pay-as-you-go packages for several key international locations. Revised prices and new minutes packages are now available to all users.

In a press release, the company detailed the new ISD minutes packages. Minute packs essentially offer subscribers a set number of on-call minutes without any additional benefits. These are different from pay-as-you-go top-up plans, where customers have to buy a package to get a special ISD call rate and no minute-based limit. These plans are generally useful for those who only make short international calls and don’t want to spend a lot on them.

New Reliance Jio minutes packs start from Rs. 39. It is available for international calls to USA and Canada. The package offers 30 minutes of on-call time. Bangladesh minutes pack costs Rs 49 and offers 20 minutes of calls. To make calls in Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and Malaysia, subscribers will have to pay Rs. 49 for 15 minutes of conversation.

Furthermore, the minutes pack for Australia and New Zealand is priced at Rs. 69 for 15 minutes of duty. Further, to make calls to UK, Germany, France and Spain, subscribers will have to purchase Rs. 79 recharge plan, which offers 10 minutes of calls. Rs. The 89 top-up package covers China, Japan and Bhutan and offers 15 minutes of talk time. Finally, to make calls to UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Kuwait and Bahrain, users will have to spend Rs. 99, which in return offers 10 minutes of on-call.

These targeted top-up plans aim to help customers pay only for the region they want to stay connected to. These hybrid plans are available to all Jio prepaid and postpaid mobile subscribers. Also, there is no limit to how many times a user can top up their number through the plan. All packages are valid for seven days from the day of replenishment.
