The Redmi Note 14 5G was launched in China last month, but now it may debut in international markets. According to the report, the smartphone has been spotted on an Indonesian certification portal, hinting that it might be launched in the country. It was also reported to have appeared on certification websites in the US and Europe. Notably, the specifications of the phone are said to be unchanged compared to the Chinese variant.

Redmi Note 14 5G may soon be launched in international markets

The publication Tech Outlook reported that the Redmi Note 14 5G appeared in Indonesia General Directorate of Postal and Information Resources and Equipment (SDPPI), the regulatory body that certifies smartphones. The new Redmi smartphone has reportedly been certified by the agency with serial number ‘104201/SDPPI/2024’ and PLG ID ‘10047’.

The smartphone spotted in the database reportedly had a model number of 24094RAD4G, where the G stands for the global variant. Notably, the smartphone has also been spotted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US and the European Economic Community (EEC). If true, these are the three confirmed regions where the Redmi Note 14 5G could be launched in the near future. Its global launch date is currently unknown.

Specifications of Redmi Note 14 5G (China variant)

The Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 14 5G has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen (1080 x 2400 pixels) with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The smartphone is powered by a 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset combined with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 built-in memory. It runs on Android 14 based HyperOS.

In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 14 5G has a dual rear camera, including a 50-megapixel main sensor with support for optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera has a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

The Redmi Note 14 5G is backed by a 5,110mAh battery with 45W wired charging support. For connectivity, it is equipped with dual port 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS and USB Type-C. The smartphone also has an IP64 dust and water resistance rating.
