Realme UI 6.0 update
In a post on Chinese social media platform Weibo, Kangda Leo, product manager of realme UI, announced that Realme UI 6.0 will be launched in China in October. Although the official representative did not give an exact date, speculations suggest that its unveiling may take place around the same time as the launch of the ColorOS 15 update.
The alleged update is expected to bring Android 15 to Realme smartphones. While the specific features of the Realme update are yet to be revealed, it is widely believed that the update will have the features that Google unveiled at its developer conference announcing its next operating system (OS).
The list of expected features includes Private Space – a digital safe for apps that users don’t want others to open. It also offers improved passkey support with single sign-on and the ability to save your favorite split-screen combinations. Smartphones may also get OS-level app archive/unzip support.
For developers, this can offer new ways to further customize applications. They can improve its performance to run on any version of Android. It offers Matrix44 and other canvas painting capabilities, allowing developers to manipulate the canvas in 3D, as well as create complex shapes by intersecting the current shader or difference of the current shader.
The report suggests that Android 15 may also use Bluetooth LE Audio technology to enhance the smartphone’s surround sound.
