The Realme GT 6 is slated to launch in India and other global markets on June 20. Now, ahead of the launch, the company has revealed several artificial intelligence (AI) features that users will be able to use out-of-the-box. Combining AI features under the umbrella of Next AI, the company said the smartphone will get a night vision mode, Smart Removal and Smart Loop features. Notably, the phone is believed to be a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo 6 that was launched in China in May.
Realme GT 6 will get three AI features at launch
First on the list is the AI night vision mode. The company claims to use advanced night video algorithms to enable this feature on the Realme GT 6. The feature is said to offer software-based image zoom acceleration to allow users to capture vivid and detailed videos. The company also shared a video shot using this technology and compared its results to the regular video mode of the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Another AI feature that users will be able to try out is AI Smart Removal. This will allow users to select unnecessary objects and people in the background of photos and automatically remove them. The AI will also fill in the background to blend it in with the rest of the photo. Similar tools for removing objects based on artificial intelligence are also offered by Samsung, Google and Oppo for some smartphone models.
Meanwhile, the AI Smart Loop feature will also debut on the Realme GT 6. This will allow users to select and drag any element on the screen, be it text or image, and quickly share it through third-party apps. According to the company’s microsite for the smartphone, dragging the item reveals a semicircular drawer on the side that displays third-party apps and a file dock. According to the company, the latter can be used to save it for later.
Realme GT 6 Specifications (Expected)
According to previous reports, the Realme GT 6 may feature a 6.78-inch BOE S1 OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. It is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. In terms of optics, it may have a 50-megapixel primary camera. Additionally, it may have a 6,000mAh battery along with 100W wired fast charging.
