Acclaimed action role-playing game Monster Hunter Rise leads the PS Plus offerings this month, followed by sports sim Football Manager 2024, grand strategy RPG Crusader Kings III, adventure game After Us, city-building RTS Anno 1800, and more. Games that will appear in the game catalog will be available to PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium members from June 18.

The additions to the game catalog, revealed on the PlayStation Blog on Wednesday, come after the monthly free PS Plus games for June were previously announced as part of Sony’s Day of Play promotion. This month’s free PS Plus games, already available to PS Plus subscribers at all levels, include Streets of Rage 4, AEW Fight Forever and SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake.

Monster Hunter Rise was first released on Nintendo Switch in 2021 and ported to PlayStation and Xbox consoles in 2023. As with all Monster Hunter games, it allows players to track down and hunt giant beasts with a selection of weapons, tools, and traps. Loot from monster hunting allows players to craft better weapons and armor. Monster Hunter Rise adds new tools and new monsters, and adds more verticality to the game map. The game will be available on both PS4 and PS5.

Football Manager 2024, unlike the FIFA series of football video games, is designed for football fans who want to immerse themselves in the intricate and mind-blowing world of football management. The perennially popular FM series allows players to truly control their club from top to bottom. You will be responsible for scouting, transfers, player development, youth team and more. FM 2024 also allows players to transfer their save files from previous games and continue their journey.

Paradox Interactive’s Crusader Kings III also joins the game catalog this month. First released on PC in 2020, this grand strategy game is set in the Middle Ages. Players take control of a king and his heirs over the centuries to create a dynasty. Throughout the game, you can engage in wars, diplomacy, and deception. Religion plays a large role in the game, and players can participate in holy wars and crusades. Crusader Kings III will be available on PS5.

This month’s Game Catalog line-up will be attracting strategy fans as Anno 1800 also joins PS Plus in June. Real-time urban strategy takes place during the industrial revolution in the 19th century. The game focuses on trading and producing goods and allows players to plan their city. Anno 1800 can be played alone or online in PvP and co-op modes. It will be available on PS5.
