The Honor X9c was launched in Malaysia on Tuesday. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC processor and up to 12 GB of RAM. It is backed by a 6600mAh battery with 66W wired charging support. According to Honor, the phone is drop resistant from a height of 2 meters and has an IP65M dust and water resistance rating. The Honor X9c features a 108-megapixel dual rear camera with OIS. The smartphone is the successor to the Honor X9b, which was launched in India in February this year.

The Honor X9c starts at RM1,499 (roughly Rs. 28,700) for the 12GB + 256GB variant in Malaysia, while the 12GB + 512GB variant costs RM1,699 (roughly Rs. 32,500). It is also listed on the global website in an 8GB + 256GB configuration, but the price has not been revealed. The phone is offered in three colors — Jade Cyan, Titanium Black and Titanium Purple. It is available for pre-order in Singapore via the online store.

The Honor X9c features a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1224 x 2700 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4000 nits typical brightness, and eye protection features. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset combined with an Adreno A710 GPU, up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of built-in storage. It comes with MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14.
On the optics front, the Honor X9c sports a 108-megapixel primary rear sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) along with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. There is a 16-megapixel selfie sensor on the front. According to the company, the phone is designed to withstand drops of up to 2 meters. It also has an IP65M rating for 360-degree dust and water resistance. According to the company, the M rating means “the ability to withstand the effects of water even while driving.”
The Honor X9c is powered by a 6,600mAh battery with support for 66W wired fast charging. Connectivity options for the phone include dual 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, OTG, GPS and a USB Type-C port. The phone measures 162.8 x 75.5 x 7.98 mm and weighs 189 grams.
