The Oppo Reno 12 Pro is expected to launch soon in India and global markets alongside the standard model Reno 12. The smartphones were launched in China last month and now the company has confirmed that the phones will debut in other regions as well. Although a release date has yet to be announced, the leaker has released specifications for both models in the Reno 12 series, along with alleged design renders of the phones that hint at curved displays and flat edges.

Images of the Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro released by expert Sudhanshu Ambhore look very similar to the models that arrived in China on May 23. The standard variant is said to have a display with curved left and right edges, unlike the Chinese variant of the Oppo Reno 12, which has the same quad-curved display as the Reno 12 Pro model.

Meanwhile, the renders released by the leakster suggest that the phones will sport a triple rear camera and have flat edges. The volume and power buttons are located on the right side of the phone. The images show the phone in two of the three colors that were launched in China.
Technical characteristics of Oppo Reno 12 Pro, Reno 12 (according to rumors)
According to the specifications information shared by the whistleblower, the Oppo Reno 12 phones will have a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2412 pixels) 3D AMOLED screen with a refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1200 nits. The displays of the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro models are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and Gorilla Glass Victus 2, respectively.
The Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300-Energy processor with Mali G615 GPU coupled with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phones are said to run on Android 14 ColorOS 14.1 out of the box. The phones are also reported to have an IP65 dust and splash rating.
Both phones are expected to have a 50-megapixel main camera with Sony LYT-600 and optical image stabilization, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an IMX355 sensor. The standard model has a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 32-megapixel front-facing selfie camera, while the Pro model has a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
The leaked specs also reveal that the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro will pack a 5,000mAh battery and support 80W SuperVOOC charging, which is claimed to charge the phones from zero to 100 percent in 46 minutes. It will also support Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and dual nano SIM connectivity.
