The Oppo Find N5 is expected to arrive soon as the successor to the Oppo Find N3, which was launched in October 2023. An alleged foldable device in the style of a book has begun to circulate in rumors. The whistleblower hinted at the expected launch date of the smartphone along with some of its key features. The phone is expected to launch in some global markets under the OnePlus Open 2 name, as the OnePlus Open model was a rebranded version of the Find N3.

The Oppo Find N5 is expected to launch in the first half of 2025, which is between January and June, according to a Weibo post by leaker Smart Pikachu. A previous leak claimed that the phone could hit the market by the first quarter of 2025. The previous Oppo Find N3 was introduced in October 2023.

Oppo Find N5 Features (Expected)

According to a source, the Oppo Find N5 is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The phone is expected to have a 50-megapixel triple rear camera housed inside a circular module. It is expected to support wireless magnetic charging and adds that the phone is likely to be “compatible with Apple’s ecology”. This could indicate a MagSafe charging type solution.

The Oppo Find N5 is expected to be thinner and lighter than the Oppo Find N3, as well as an “improved metal texture”. It was previously reported that it will have a “record” thickness of about 9 mm. It is noteworthy that the thickness of the glass back panel of the previous Oppo Find N3 was about 11.7 mm, while the leather version was about 11.9 mm.

Previous leaks have suggested that the Oppo Find N5 will feature 2K displays and a 50-megapixel main Sony sensor. Along with the waterproof design, the phone is also expected to get an alert slider.
