OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite design spotted in real-time leak; The Geekbench listing hints at a Snapdragon 695 SoC

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite — the alleged successor to the current Nord CE 3 Lite model — has just appeared in a live image on X (formerly Twitter). The photo of the phone shows an updated design compared to the past and latest models of the Nord CE series. Another leak also revealed Geekbench results of the phone, which hint at the processor and RAM configuration of the device being tested. As more and more information about the phone continues to emerge, we can assume that the launch of this smartphone will also happen soon.

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is expected to be the successor to the Nord CE 3 Lite, which is currently on sale in India for Rs. 17,999, in the budget segment. OnePlus recently launched its Nord CE 4 ( review ), which is essentially a mid-range device in India that starts at Rs. 24,999. The leaked photo of the upcoming Nord CE 4 Lite shows a design that is unlike any of these smartphones. However, @gadget_bits on X claims that this is indeed a photo of the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite.

The photo shows a more square design with sharp edges and a slightly raised camera module, which looks similar to the recently launched OnePlus Ace 3V and Oppo K12x. The phone has flat sides and appears to have a dual-camera setup with one 50-megapixel camera, as the label on the module clearly states. That’s a real departure from the 108-megapixel sensor on the Nord CE 3 Lite, which also came with two additional cameras. At the moment, the function of the second camera remains unclear.

Two cameras on the back are accompanied by two LED flash modules. The bottom also shows a model number that reads as CPH2621, which confirms that it is the Nord CE 4 Lite as the model number matches the model number found in a previous report where it was mentioned on the Singapore IMDA certification website.

TheTechOutlook reports that performance scores of the same model have also been obtained on Geekbench. The listing shows that the phone scored 896 and 2002 in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively, which looks good considering it will be a budget device. In our independent testing of the OnePlus Nord CE 4, we got scores of 1154 and 3000 in both tests, which were significantly higher.

Looking at the details in the Geekbench listing, it looks like the processor running this device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, an octa-core chipset that was launched in 2021. The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is listed with 8GB of RAM, and this could be one of them. RAM and phone memory configurations.

Just like the Oppo K12, which was actually a rebrand of the Nord CE 4, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is suspected to be a rebrand of the Oppo K12x that was announced in May this year. The Oppo K12x is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display and looks similar to the leaked design. The device has a 50-megapixel primary camera paired with a 2-megapixel depth camera for portrait mode photos. It is powered by a 5500mAh battery and supports 80W wired charging.
