The OnePlus 13 is the rumored successor to the 2023 OnePlus 12, and is confirmed to debut in China later this month. After months of rumours, the company has finally announced the phone’s release date and revealed its design and colors. The OnePlus 13 has reportedly been spotted at an eSports event in China ahead of its upcoming launch in the country. The phone is also confirmed to feature a BOE X2 display with a local refresh rate feature.
OnePlus 13 launch date, design confirmed
OnePlus has confirmed that its flagship smartphone will be launched in China on October 31st at 16:00 local time. The phone will have upgraded system, gaming performance, screen and eye protection, battery life and charging, and imaging capabilities.
With this announcement, we also have our first look at official images of the OnePlus 13, and they confirm what rumors have been suggesting for the past few weeks. It is confirmed that the phone will be available in three colors: blue, black and white. While the latter two have a plain finish, the blue one seems to have a two-tone aspect and the camera island has a white finish.
The OnePlus 13’s camera module has been slightly modified and is now separated from the rest of the smartphone’s frame. Instead of appearing connected to the body of the phone, it sits on the left as a separate circle. The Hasselblad branding also appears to have been moved from the camera body and is now placed in the upper right corner above the horizontal decorative metal strip. The rest of the design is very similar to its predecessor.
OnePlus 13 spotted in China
In several posts on Chinese social media platform Weibo (via Notebookcheck ), users claimed to have spotted the alleged OnePlus 13 in the hands of eSports players at the Peacekeeper Elite 2024 event held in China, ahead of its official debut on October 31. .

The OnePlus 13 will feature a 6.82-inch 2K 10-bit LTPO BOE X2 OLED display with a micro-quad and a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, it will have a new local refresh rate feature.
The new OnePlus smartphone is expected to run on the new Snapdragon 8 Elite (commonly known as Snapdragon 8 Gen 4) chipset under the hood, coupled with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of built-in storage. For optics, it may sport a triple primary camera with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle unit, and a 50-megapixel periscopic telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
