Ahead of the OnePlus 13’s debut, the company has shared details of its display features. It will feature BOE’s second-generation Oriental X2 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, according to one of several images posted on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging platform.
The images shared by OnePlus also show that the display will have DisplayMate A++ and TUV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Protection 4.0 certifications. It will also offer DC dimming support along with anti-flicker technology to protect your eyes.
OnePlus also revealed features like Rain Touch 2.0 (allowing you to use the display when it’s wet), while another image suggests that it will also work when the user is wearing gloves, while another poster shows that the phone’s display will come with touch optimization, related to games. .
OnePlus 13 specifications (expected)
The upcoming OnePlus 13 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, along with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The smartphone maker also confirmed that the phone will run on Android 15 with ColorOS 15 (in global markets, it will run on OxygenOS 15). In a recent test published by the company, the phone scored more than three million points in the AnTuTu test.
It’s also confirmed that it will get a Hasselblad-tuned triple primary camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view. It will also have the same image processing algorithm as the Oppo Find X8 series.
