Motorola Razr 50 Ultra design, key specs revealed in TENAA listing

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is expected to launch alongside the Motorola Razr 50 later this year. These phones are expected to replace the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and Motorola Razr 40 respectively. Reports and leaks have offered key specifications and price ranges of the anticipated foldable flip phones. We’ve also seen renders of the phones’ designs leaked. Recently, the vanilla Motorola Razr 50 was spotted on the TENAA certification site. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra has now appeared on the TENAA website, and the listing reveals its design and key specifications.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is listed in Dark Blue on TENAA. The internal display appears with a central punch hole at the top and thin bezels. Two separate circular camera modules along with a small LED flash can be seen at the top left corner of the back of the phone. It can be seen that the cover screen extends to the hinge in the middle of the back panel. The bottom half features an “M” branding and below that, “Razr.” On the top right edge of the phone are the power and volume buttons.

Motorola Razr 50 Ultra specifications, specifications (expected)

According to the listing, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will feature a 6.9-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ (1080 x 2460 pixels) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The external screen is said to be a 4-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1272 x 1080 pixels, which is significantly larger than the previous Razr 40 Ultra’s 3.6-inch display.

The listing suggests that the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is expected to be powered by an octa-core chipset clocked at a top speed of 3.0GHz. It is believed to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The phone is likely to be available in 8GB, 12GB, 16GB and 18GB RAM variants, which are said to be paired with four storage options – 28GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.

In the camera department, Motorola’s upcoming clamshell is expected to sport dual 50-megapixel rear camera sensors along with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is expected to have dual batteries of 998 mAh and 2832 mAh. With a total capacity rating of 3,830 mAh, it is likely to sell for a price of 4,000 mAh. Previously, the 3C listing said the phone could support 68W fast charging. The phone is expected to weigh 189g and measure 171.4 x 73.9 x 7mm.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra was previously reported to ship with Android 14. The phone is also expected to have an IPX8 water resistance rating and support for wireless charging. It can be offered in three color variants with the marketing names of Midnight Blue, Spring Green and Hot Pink. The 12GB RAM + 512GB configuration of this phone is expected to cost around €1,200 (roughly Rs. 107).
