The Motorola Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 Ultra and Edge 50 Fusion were launched in India in recent months and the arrival details of the standard model Motorola Edge 50 have now started to surface online. The phone may soon be launched in India, it has reportedly been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. The Motorola Edge 50 is expected to be the successor to last year’s Motorola Edge 40. It is likely to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 68W charging support.
Motorola Edge 50 appears on the BIS website
MySmartPrice spotted a Motorola Edge 50 listing on the BIS website with model number XT2407-3. The phone’s listing was published on Monday and indicates that the launch is likely to happen in the coming weeks or months. However, Motorola is yet to officially announce the details of the phone.
There is also a listing for the same XT2407-3 model number on the FCC website. The listing shows that the phone will have 5G connectivity, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and Wi-Fi 6. It is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
The Motorola Edge 50 is likely to join the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 Ultra and Edge 50 Fusion which have already been launched in the country. It is expected to be an upgrade over last year’s Motorola Edge 40 phone.

The Motorola Edge 40 is currently priced at Rs. 29,999 for the single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. It sports a 6.55-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8020 5G chipset with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of inbuilt USF 3.1 storage. It boasts of a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The Motorola Edge 40 is powered by a 4,400mAh battery with support for 68W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
