Sony has announced the list of monthly games that will join PlayStation Plus in July. Free games joining PS Plus next month include heist shooter Borderlands 3, sports simulator NHL 24 and multiplayer party Among Us. All three games will be available to PS Plus members at the Essential, Extra and Deluxe/Premium levels from July 2.
PS Plus subscribers can access July’s monthly games published on the PlayStation Blog on Wednesday at no additional cost. Three free games will be available on the service until August 6. During this period, players can add games to their libraries and continue to play them after August 6 with an active PS Plus subscription. In addition, the PS Plus July deals also include the Genshin Impact in-game reward pack, which will be available on July 16.
Monthly PS Plus games for June, which include SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, AEW Fight Forever and Streets of Rage 4, are still available on the service. These games can be added to the game library until July 1st. Here’s an overview of the monthly PS Plus game lineup for July:
Border 3
Sci-fi heist shooter Borderlands 3 headlines the PS Plus lineup next month. Players can choose from four available classes, play alone or in co-op with four players, complete chaotic quests, collect rewards and find new weapons and equipment. As players progress through the story and take part in side quests, they can upgrade their characters and unlock new skills and abilities. You play as one of four Vault Hunters recruited to take down an insane cult. Borderlands 3 can also be played in split-screen co-op. The game will be available on both PS4 and PS5.
NHL 24
PS Plus added EA Sports FC 24 in May. Joining the service next month is NHL 24. The ice hockey simulator offers new gameplay features and updates existing systems to deliver an authentic hockey experience. NHL 24 features a new full skill control system that allows players to perform complex tricks with one touch. The game has also received a new traversal and body check system to add more authenticity to its instant gameplay. It will be available on both PS4 and PS5.
Among us
The last name of the month is Among Us. The massively multiplayer online social deduction game, which has grown in popularity during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, is coming to PS Plus in July. In this party-based game, players rush through missions and find an impostor hiding in them to sabotage the ship and literally strike the other crew members. Among Us will be available on both PS4 and PS5.
Earlier this month, Sony announced a sale of games that will join the PS Plus catalog of games available to PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium subscribers in June. These include Monster Hunter Rise, FM 2024, Crusader Kings III and more.
