Lenovo Legion Go has been confirmed to launch in India soon. The company revealed the launch date of the portable gaming console in the country in a press release. He also revealed some key specifications and features of the handheld console. It was first unveiled during IFA (International FunkAusstellung Berlin) 2023. The Lenovo Legion Go is powered by AMD Ryzen Z1 series processors and runs Windows 11 with Legion Space gaming software. It comes with detachable hall effect joysticks with RGB lighting.
Lenovo Legion Go launched in India
Lenovo Legion Go will be launched in India on June 27, the company confirmed in a press release. The product microsite is also available on the Lenovo India website. This confirms a few details about the upcoming portable gaming console. The company also confirmed that all buyers will get access to three free months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
According to the microsite, the Indian variant of Lenovo Legion Go will support Legion glasses. Support for three modes โ handheld, detachable and FPS (first-person shooter) โ has also been confirmed. The latter mode uses an additional controller base to turn part of the controller into a vertical mouse for better aiming in FPS games.
Features of Lenovo Legion Go
The Indian variant of the Lenovo Legion Go is confirmed to feature an 8.8-inch QHD+ touchscreen display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a brightness level of 500 nits. It has been confirmed to be powered by AMD Ryzen Z1 series chipsets and run Windows 11. The console will also feature Legion’s proprietary ColdFront cooling system.
Lenovo also confirmed that the Legion Go will support 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of PCIe Gen4 onboard storage. It will also support expandable storage up to 2TB via microSD card.
Lenovo Legion Go will be equipped with a battery with a capacity of 49.2 Wh with support for fast charging. It will also feature Power Bypass and Battery Optimization modes. The teaser images show that the console will be launched in India in Shadow Black color.
