Lava announced the launch of a new smartphone in India on Friday, which may be called the Lava Yuva 5G. The smartphone maker shared a teaser video of the phone on social media where you could see its design. The teaser also confirms some of the key features of the upcoming phone’s camera. While the company hasn’t revealed a launch date, the Yuva 5G could make its debut in the coming weeks. Notably, leaked images of the Lava Yuva 4 Pro 5G were spotted earlier this year. Based on the officially released design, it is now believed that the same smartphone may be launched as Lava Yuva 5G.
Lava Yuva 5G Teaser Released
In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), the official manager of Lava Mobiles released a 14-second teaser of the smartphone with the text “#Yuva5G coming soon!”. It is noteworthy that this will be the first Yuva brand phone with 5G support. While the company hasn’t revealed any of its specifications, a short video teased its design and camera module.
The Lava Yuva 5G appears to have a rectangular square design with the Lava branding and 5G text aligned vertically. The phone features a centrally located round camera module with a dual camera setup on the back. The main camera will be a 50-megapixel sensor, but details about the secondary camera are unknown. The module is also equipped with an LED flash.
Lava Yuva 5G specifications leaked
While the company hasn’t officially provided any specifications, a smartphone with model number LAVA LXX513 was spotted on Geekbench earlier this week. The model number is believed to be of the Lava Yuva 5G. The listing highlights that the phone will run Android 14 out of the box and come in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants.
Apart from that, the page also highlights that the smartphone could get an octa-core processor with two cores clocked at a maximum of 2.4GHz and six cores clocked at 2.0GHz.
The processor specs have led us to believe that the phone could be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 or Dimensity 6080 processor. Additionally, the Lava Yuva 5G is said to sport a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The phone may be priced below Rs. 10,000.
