Key specifications of the CMF Phone 1, including chipset details, have been leaked alongside a concept image

The specifications of the CMF Phone 1 have been leaked ahead of its debut and according to a source, the upcoming smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity chipset under the hood. Last week, CMF officially confirmed that it will launch the CMF Phone 1 as the first-ever Nothing sub-brand smartphone. While the company hasn’t released any specifications, details about the processor powering the phone, along with information about its memory and GPU specs, have leaked online.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), tipster Gadget Bits claims that the CMF Phone 1 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. This octa-core chipset consists of four cores clocked at 2.5GHz and another four cores clocked at 2.0GHz. According to the tipster, the CMF Phone 1 may also be equipped with a MicroSD card slot.

The guide also shared a concept image of the smartphone created by X user Rahul Janardhanan. The image suggests a dual rear camera system that is positioned vertically like the Nothing Phone 2.

It may have a small wheel on the bottom, similar to the CMF Buds. However, the translucent design that has become synonymous with the brand appears to be missing, as well as the Glpyh interface. The image also shows a screw element on the same panel as the power button, but it’s currently unclear if the phone will have a removable back panel.

According to Technerd_9, the CMF Phone 1 will have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the same but thick bezels. The smartphone is expected to have a polycarbonate rear panel. Regarding the amount of memory, the expert claims that the CMF Phone 1 can be produced in two variants: 128 GB and 256 GB with UFS 2.2 memory.

It may be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for wired fast charging of up to 33W, according to the claims. The tipster also suggests that it could have a dual camera setup on the back, which includes a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. It is assumed that there will be a 16-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.
