iQoo Neo 9s Pro+ launch date announced; Confirmed to ship with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 5500mAh battery

iQoo Neo 9s Pro with MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC was launched in May. Now sub-brand Vivo has officially announced the launch date of its new iQoo Neo 9s Pro+. The new Neo 9 series smartphone comes in three colors with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset under the hood. The iQoo Neo 9s Pro+ will have a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The new phone will be launched alongside the iQoo Watch GT and iQoo 1i TWS earphones.

Through a post on Weibo, iQoo has confirmed that the launch of the iQoo Neo 9s Pro+ will take place on July 11 at 7:00 PM (4:30 PM IST) at Universal Studios Beijing. During the presentation, the brand will present iQoo Watch GT, iQoo Pad 2 Pro and iQoo 1i TWS. The company is partnering with the NBA for the launch.

The official images show iQoo Neo 9s Pro+ in Buff Blue, Fighting Black and Start White colors (translated from Chinese). The blue variant has a two-tone design. They appear to have dual rear cameras and a flat screen reminiscent of the design of the iQoo Neo 9s Pro.

In addition, Vice President of Vivo Jia Jingdong revealed some specifications of the iQoo Neo 9s Pro+. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset along with Vivo’s own Q1 gaming chip to optimize the gaming experience. It will have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and will run on OriginOS 4.0. A 5,500mAh battery with support for 120W super-fast charging is confirmed. It will have a profile with a thickness of 7.99 mm. The smartphone will be equipped with a 50 MP primary camera and a 50 MP wide-angle camera.

The iQoo Watch GT is confirmed to feature AI features, while the iQoo Pad 2 Pro will debut as the company’s first 1TB tablet.
