Honor Magic V Flip is all set to hit the Chinese market this month. Honor has confirmed the arrival of its first clamshell foldable smartphone via its official website and Weibo. The company has also started accepting pre-orders for the phone through its official online store in China. It is available in three colors with up to 1TB of storage and 12GB of RAM as standard. Additionally, the Honor Magic V Flip has allegedly appeared on China’s Compulsory Certification (3C) website. The listing indicates support for 66W fast charging.

Honor Magic V Flip launch details

The Honor Magic V Flip will be launched on June 13 and the event will be held in China at 7:30 PM local time (05:00 AM IST). The company has been teasing the foldable device’s design and specifications via Weibo and a dedicated landing page on its website. This is evident with the larger lid display and round camera module. The display rotates around the camera module. The phone is confirmed to be available in Camellia White, Champagne Pink and Iris Black colors.

Honor has put up a booking page on its Chinese website for the Honor Magic V Flip. The listing confirms that it will be available in three RAM and storage options — 12+256GB, 12+512GB and 12GB+1TB. It will go on sale through JD.com, Tmall and Honor Mall. Details regarding its global availability are still being kept under wraps.

According to Gizmochina, an Honor smartphone with the model number LRA-AN00, which is believed to be the Honor Magic V Flip, appeared on the 3C website. The 3C listing purportedly shows that the smartphone comes with a HN-110600C00 / HW-110600C02 charger, indicating support for charging up to 66W.

The Honor Magic V Flip is rumored to have a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery and a dual primary camera setup. It may debut as the thinnest and lightest flip phone ever.
