Honor Magic 6, Honor Magic 6 Pro launch schedule in India announced

Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro were launched in China in January. Now, the Chinese tech brand seems to be gearing up to introduce the flagship series in India. Honor phones are sold in India through HTech, which has yet to confirm the arrival of the new Magic series. Ahead of any official announcements, a tipster suggested a potential launch schedule for the phones. Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro run on MagicOS 8.0 and are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. They have LTPO OLED displays and triple rear cameras.

Launch of Honor Magic 6 series in India

According to a tweet by tipster Paras Guglani ( @passionategeekz ), the Honor Magic 6 series is coming to India soon. The Honor Magic 6 Pro is said to debut in the country in July.

Expectations for the launch of the Honor Magic 6 series in India have been high since March. In March, HTech CEO Madhav Sheth announced their arrival via X. He posted images of the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate and the Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR, hinting at their launch in the country. He also recently announced the imminent arrival of the Honor Magic V2 foldable phone in India.

Honor Magic 6 series price, specifications

The Honor Magic 6 series was announced in the brand’s homeland in January. Later, the brand expanded the model range by introducing the Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate variants.

The Honor Magic 6 starts at RMB 4,399 (roughly Rs. 50,000) for the 12GB + 256GB RAM variant. Meanwhile, the Honor Magic 6 Pro is priced at RMB 5,699 (roughly Rs. 65,000) for the base 12GB + 256GB model. They were presented at MWC in February.

The Honor Magic 6 series runs MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 and is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. They have LTPO OLED displays and triple rear cameras. The vanilla model has a 6.78-inch screen, while the Pro version has a 6.8-inch display. The former has a 50-megapixel primary camera, while the latter has a 180-megapixel periscope sensor.

The Honor Magic 6 is powered by a 5,450 mAh battery, while the Pro model is powered by a 5,600 mAh battery. They also have an IP68 dust and water rating.
