HMD Moon Knight is reportedly under development. The moniker has surfaced online along with some expected key features. The whistleblower shared the alleged smartphone’s name, model number and key specifications such as chipset, camera and display. Meanwhile, other details such as the possible build and design element of the rumored model have also been reported. HMD, which recently launched its Skyline smartphone in India, is yet to confirm the handset.

Features of HMD Moon Knight (coming soon)

X’s post from HMD_MEME’S (@smashx_60) account claims that HMD is working on a new smartphone, possibly called Moon Knight. It is said to have the model number TA-1691. According to this leak, the rumored smartphone could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.

The leak claims that the HMD Moon Knight phone could feature a Full HD+ pOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone may come with four primary cameras. It is likely to have an aluminum frame and support 5G connectivity. The handset can have a dual speaker.

HMD Moon Knight can be equipped with POGO pins. This suggests that the phone’s design could be similar to that of the HMD Fusion that was unveiled at IFA 2024 earlier this month. This design is expected to support customizable accessories that can provide additional functionality.

Notably, the HMD Fusion is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC and has IP52 dust and splash protection. It has a 6.56-inch 90Hz HD+ screen, a 108MP dual rear camera, a 50MP selfie camera and a 5000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging. The phone starts at €249 (roughly Rs. 24,000).
