CMF Phone 1 with a rotating dial on the eve of release; There is nothing sub-brand hinting at CMF Buds 2, Watch Pro 2

The CMF Phone 1 will soon be launched as the first smartphone of the Nothing sub-brand. The launch of the CMF Phone 1 was confirmed last week, and now the company has released a teaser video showing the unique rotating dial. The video also hints at the appearance of new models of headphones and smart watches. The latest video hints at a matte black finish on the back of the CMF Phone 1. It is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 SoC and is likely to look similar to the Nothing Phone 2a.

The Nothing sub-brand has released a 15-second teaser video on its X (formerly Twitter) titled “Reinventing the Wheel,” which is all about the smart watch face. The video shows three dials slowly rotating. The first watch face is believed to belong to the CMF Phone 1, while the other two watch faces may belong to the rumored CMF Buds 2 and CMF Watch Pro 2. We can speculate that the smartphone watch face can be used to control media playback and volume.

The video shows the matte black back panel of the CMF Phone 1. It was already reported to have an orange color. Along with the smartphone, the brand is expected to launch CMF Buds 2 and CMF Watch Pro 2. We can expect CMF to announce more details about its next products in the coming days.

CMF Phone 1 price, specifications (expected)

The CMF Phone 1 is expected to debut as an affordable smartphone priced at Rs. 19,999.It is confirmed to go on sale via Flipkart. It is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC and supports 33W fast wired charging. It’s likely to be a rebranded version of the recent Nothing Phone 2a with a different look — most notably the absence of the signature Nothing Glyph UI on the back.

According to previous leaks, the CMF Phone 1 will run Android 14 and have a 6.67-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It boasted a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It is expected to have up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of expandable storage and a 5,000mAh battery.
