Audio-Technica ATH-TWX7 with up to 24 hours of battery life launched in India: price, specifications

The Audio-Technica ATH-TWX7 was launched in India on Tuesday as the company’s latest truly wireless stereo (TWS) headphones. It was previously introduced to global markets in January. The wireless headphones are equipped with noise canceling features as well as listening and talking modes. The TWS earphones support multi-point connectivity and feature MEMS microphones with beamforming technology. Complete with a portable charging and storage case, these headphones are claimed to offer a total battery life of up to 24 hours. The headphones come with an IPX4 rating for splash resistance.

Audio-Technica ATH-TWX7 price in India is set at Rs. 19,990. It is available for purchase in the country through Amazon and other Audio-Technica retail partners. They are offered in one ash black color.

The new Audio-Technica ATH-TWX7 headphones have an in-ear design and are equipped with 5.8 mm dynamic drivers. They are equipped with hybrid noise-canceling technology that includes modes such as listening and talking, which users can select based on their environment. The headphones carry MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) microphones that offer two call modes to ensure voice clarity — Natural and Noise Reduction.

The newly launched TWS headphones are compatible with the Audio-Technica Connect app, which users can use to manage noise cancellation or call modes, as well as adjust EQ settings and touch functions. They support Bluetooth 5.1 multipoint connectivity that allows users to pair two electronic devices with the headphones at the same time. TWS headphones come with support for SBC, AAC and LDAC audio codecs.

The Audio-Technica ATH-TWX7 headphones are claimed to offer up to 6.5 hours of battery life with ANC on, along with an additional 20 hours with the charging case. However, without the ANC feature, the headphones can run for up to 7.5 hours on a single charge and are claimed to offer a total playback time of up to 24 hours. The case has a USB Type-C port for charging and also supports wireless charging.

Only the Audio-Technica ATH-TWX7 headphones, not the case, are IPX4 rated for splash resistance. Each earbud weighs 4.7g, while the charging case weighs 47.5g.
