The Asus ROG Phone 9 will be officially unveiled later this week. After Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset last month, Asus has confirmed that the ROG Phone 9 will use the flagship SoC. Now, ahead of the launch, the phone has been spotted on the Geekbench ML online database with key specifications being suggested. The Geekbench ML listing allegedly shows the ROG Phone 9 with a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, Android 15, and 24GB of RAM.

MySmartPrice has spotted the Asus ROG Phone 9 listed on Geekbench ML with the model number ASUSAI250E. The November 8 listing allegedly shows that the phone will come with 24GB of RAM and Android 15. According to the listing, the phone scored 1,812 on the Geekbench Core ML Neural Engine Interference test. This test measures a device’s machine learning capabilities and evaluates how effectively the phone will run neural network models.
The listing also states that the Asus ROG Phone 9 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. The octa-core chipset has a main processor core with a maximum clock speed of 4.32 GHz and a base frequency of 3.53 GHz.
Asus has confirmed that the ROG Phone 9 will be launched on November 19 and will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The gaming-focused phone will be unveiled at Asus’ ‘AI On, Game On’ virtual event, suggesting it will come with AI-powered gaming features.
Technical characteristics of Asus ROG Phone 9
According to previous leaks, the Asus ROG Phone 9 will feature a 6.78-inch Full HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) Samsung Flexible LTPO AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It may have a triple primary camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 700 primary camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera.
The Asus ROG Phone 9 is expected to pack a 5,800mAh battery with support for 65W wired and wireless charging.
