In recent years, the iPhone maker has also moved away from Chinese factories, which were the main manufacturers of most iPhone models. It has partnered with companies such as Foxconn and Winstron to assemble popular models in India, the latter being acquired by the Tata Group. While devices like the iPhone 13, iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 have been assembled at Apple’s factories in India in recent years, the latest iPhone 16 series marks the first time that the iPhone Pro models are also being assembled in the country.
