Lava Yuva 5G in India scheduled for May 30; It was teased to get a 50MP rear camera

The Lava Yuva 5G will be launched in India this week, the domestic smartphone brand announced via X on Monday (May 27). The company Lava has published a teaser video that reveals the design of the future 5G smartphone. The Lava Yuva 5G has a punch-hole display and a circular rear camera island. It is confirmed to go on sale through Amazon, and a microsite for the smartphone is already live on the e-commerce website. The Lava Yuva 5G is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity chipset.

Lava Yuva 5G Launch Details

The Lava Yuva 5G will be launched on May 30 at 12:00 PM, according to Lava’s X post. As mentioned, the teaser video reveals the design of the phone. It will have a punch-hole display design and a flat bezel with rounded corners. It is seen with a round-shaped camera module with an AI-enabled dual camera led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. It has a glass back with a matte finish. Lava branding and 5G text are positioned vertically at the bottom of the back panel.

Also, the Lava Yuva 5G is confirmed to be available for purchase on Amazon. The startup microsite is already live on the e-commerce website.

The Lava Yuva 5G recently appeared on the Geekbench website with the model number LXX513. The listing suggested that it will run Android 14 with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. It may get a MediaTek Dimensity octa-core processor with two cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six cores clocked at 2.0GHz. It can run on MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC or Dimensity 6080 SoC.

The Lava Yuva 5G is tipped to get a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a 5,000mAh battery. It can be priced at less than Rs. 10,000 in India.
