A Weibo post by whistleblower Digital Chat Station suggests that the Xiaomi 15, Oppo Find X8 and Vivo X200 could launch in October. The phones are expected to have 1.5K displays and a compact form factor, suggesting they are entry-level variants rather than the higher-end ‘Pro’ or ‘Ultra’ versions, which are usually larger.

The emojis used in the Weibo post are reported to indicate that the Xiaomi 15 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, while the Oppo Find X8 and Vivo X200 may feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. Meanwhile, the speaker also suggested that Oppo and Vivo phones may have periscopic telephoto cameras.
According to the above report, the Xiaomi 15 Pro and Vivo X200 Pro are likely to launch alongside their vanilla versions. They may come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and MediaTek Dimensity chipsets respectively.
The alleged Oppo X8 Ultra, on the other hand, could be launched in China with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC and support for satellite connectivity by early 2025.
