Oppo is reportedly working on the Reno 13 series. While the brand is yet to announce a launch date in China, a report has surfaced online that suggests the India launch schedule for the Oppo Reno 13 series. The new lineup is expected to feature there will be at least two offerings, namely the Oppo Reno 13 and the Reno 13 Pro. The Pro model is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC. Also, an alleged render of the Oppo Reno 13 has leaked on Weibo, showing an iPhone-style rear design.
91Mobiles in collaboration with whistleblower Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) has suggested that the Oppo Reno 13 and Oppo Reno 13 Pro will be launched in January in India. According to rumors, the launch of the phones in China will take place on November 25.
Oppo updates the Reno lineup every year, at least in its country. The brand launched the Reno 12 phones in May this year in China. Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro were launched in India in July.
Separately, Chinese whistleblower Digital Chat Station has shared a purported image of the Oppo Reno 13 that shows off the rear design. The phone appears to have an iPhone-inspired glass rear camera design. It appears to have a triple rear camera setup.
Oppo Reno 13 Pro specifications (leaked)
Leaks suggested a few details about the Reno 13 Pro model. However, no specifications regarding the vanilla variant have been reported yet. Pro model there are rumors to get a 6.83-inch quad-curved display. It can run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
The Oppo Reno 13 Pro is expected to have a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a secondary 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and another 50-megapixel telephoto lens. It is also said to get a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. It is likely to have a metal middle frame and have IP68 and IP69 dust and water protection. The phone is also supposed to support wireless charging.
