OnePlus is expected to launch the Ace 5 series by the end of this year or early next year. Tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) on Weibo has suggested the key specifications of the OnePlus Ace 5. According to the post, the phone will sport a 6.78-inch BOE X2 8T LTPO 2D display with a 1.5K resolution. It is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus Ace 5 will have a triple primary camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel shooter. It may also sport a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

The OnePlus Ace 5 may come with a battery capacity of at least 6,000 mAh. It is said to have 100W fast charging support.

The OnePlus Ace 5 is likely to debut as the successor to the OnePlus Ace 3. The OnePlus Ace 3 was launched in January in China with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and a 5,500mAh battery. Outside of the Chinese market, it is sold as the OnePlus 12R. So we can expect the OnePlus Ace 5 to be launched internationally as the OnePlus 13R.
